About the Friends

The Friends of the Hank Aaron State Trail is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing, promoting, and maintaining the Hank Aaron State Trail. The Friends of the Hank Aaron State Trail is a is a local group of the Friends of Wisconsin State Parks.

Mission

Enhance the continued development of the Hank Aaron State Trail in cooperation with the DNR and other stakeholders and to foster stewardship of the Trail corridor.

Vision

  • Renewing, protecting and enhancing the Hank Aaron State Trail corridor,
  • Providing opportunities for recreation and education,
  • Connecting neighbors and neighborhoods, and
  • Celebrating the history and natural environment of the Menomonee Valley.
