Enjoy the beauty of the Hank Aaron State Trail and make a real difference by volunteering with the Friends of Hank Aaron State Trail. Through the Friends, many volunteer opportunities are available for any schedule to help maintain and improve the Trail, including:
During the Summer months, we have regularly-scheduled volunteer days for individuals, families, and groups held the first and third Saturday of each month, and every Wednesday. Additional opportunities exist, as well.
Volunteers have played a huge role in helping make the Hank Aaron State Trail a reality and improving the neighborhoods which the Trail touches. The Friends of Hank Aaron State Trail, City of Milwaukee, and State of Wisconsin are grateful for the efforts of all the volunteers who have helped to date. The future of the Trail depends heavily on volunteers to help maintain and improve the Trail – we invite you to make a difference!
