The Summit Players present their 2018 season: a brand-new production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night will visit 17 different Wisconsin State Parks this summer. We are pleased to welcome this fabulous production once again in Three Bridges Park along the Hank Aaron state Trail near 33rd Ct (south side of the river). Come and enjoy Shakespeare in this beautiful natural setting! To fully enjoy the show, we recommend, bringing a blanket and/or a chair, and a picnic dinner.
Workshop: 5:30pm - Before each show, the Players teach a 45 minute workshop for kids (and fun adults) on Shakespearean text, general theatre practices, and how Shakespeare used nature in his plays.
Show: 7pm - All the words in the show belong to Shakespeare, there are just less of them. Summit Players Theatre shows are produced with new cuttings of Shakespeare's scripts that become tight, approximately 75 minute shows of mayhem, character switches, and hilarity.
All shows are presented free of charge. Seating is general admission on a first come, first served basis. Actors will accept donations at the end of the show.
